Mahalingam Satchi, M.D., FACOG, MRCOG (Great Britain)
Dr. Satchi received his medical degree from the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka. He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency in 1976 at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, an affiliate of Downstate Medical Center. He then received an additional two years of post-residency training in vaginal surgery in London, England.
Dr. Satchi is certified by both the American and British boards in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is included in Connecticut Magazine’s list of the state’s “Top Docs.” Dr. Satchi joined Candlewood Center for Women’s Health in 2004 but has been in practice in Danbury since 1979.
Dr. Satchi’s special health interests include: birth control and family planning, alternate therapy for management of menopause, including bioidentical Estrogen pellet therapy, vaginal surgeries including vaginal hysterectomy and vaginoplast, and in-office surgeries including endometrial ablation for heavy or abnormal bleeding.
