Tania Nisimblat Bodnar, M.D.
Dr. Tania Nisimblat Bodnar is local to the area having grown up in Darien and attended Darien High School. Dr. Nisimblat Bodnar was a member of Darien's Post 53, the prestigious ambulance service that nurtured her love of community service and taught her the value of a hard work ethic. She received an undergraduate degree as a Bachelor in Science majoring in kinesiology and chemistry at the College of William and Mary in Virginia. Dr. Nisimblat Bodnar pursued her dream of a career in medicine and attended an international medical program at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico and completed her clinical rotations with Ross University School of Medicine receiving Highest Honors in 2006. Dr. Nisimblat Bodnar came back home to Connecticut to the Hugh K. Miller Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stamford Hospital where she did her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She graduated in 2010 as academic Chief Resident, receiving the Outstanding Laparoscopic Resident Surgeon award. Dr. Nisimblat Bodnar joined Ferrucci, Ferrucci & Morris on September 20th, 2010.
Born in Mexico City to Colombian parents, she has a unique and diverse multicultural background with a deep understanding of the Hispanic community. She is a native Spanish speaker and has also become proficient in French; her multi-lingual skills have become a tremendous asset to her career.
