Insurance plan participation

At Vasectomy and Male Infertility Center of Connecticut we participate in many managed care plans and see patients with government as well as traditional insurance. Some insurance plans may require that you obtain a referral from your regular doctor before you visit us. It is best to call your insurance company to discuss the specific coverage of your plan as it relates to vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, and male infertility visits and testing.

Note: Given the fact that there are multiple benefit designs being offered and different eligibility requirements, we would recommend that you either go on the AccessHealthCT website at accesshealtct.com or call 1-855-805-HEALTH (1-855-805-4325) for more information and to enroll for health insurance coverage

About insurance and payments

You are responsible for all deductibles, co-payments and/or any referrals that may be required by your insurance company. Your co-payment is expected at the time of service and payment in full is expected at each visit for services not covered by your insurance, in addition to all services rendered to patients with insurance plans with which our physician does not participate. If you do not have an insurance card available, full payment also is expected at the time of service.

For your convenience, Dr. Matson accepts cash, check, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. Arrangements for payment plans can also be made. All returned checks will be assessed a $25.00 service charge. If you are an existing patient with a balance due, you can also pay your bill online.
