Valentine Edusa, M.D., F.A.C.O.G
Valentine Edusa, M.D., F.A.C.O.G joined Women's Health Connecticut Ob & Gyn in 2016. Dr. Edusa was previously in private practice at OB/GYN Of Fairfield County, LLC where he was first an associate and then a partner/owner in that practice.
He received his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School, did postdoctoral research as an Ob/Gyn fellow at Yale University School of Medicine and then worked on and completed his residency at Yale/New Haven and Bridgeport Hospitals respectively.
Dr. Edusa's key areas of interest and expertise are in minimally-invasive gynecologic surgical procedures and management of high-risk pregnancies. He has significant experience in obstetrical surgeries including but not limited to the placement of Shirodkar cervical cerclages, pudenal blocks and vacuum or forcep deliveries.
Dr. Edusa lives with his family in New Haven County enjoys swimming and chess in his free time and is fluent in English, Russian and Twi (a native language of Ghana).
