Women's Health CT is currently seeking a Full-time, Front Desk Receptionist at Women's Comprehensive Health Care in Hartford!

Employment: Full-time, 40 hrs per week
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm
Reports to: Practice Manager
Job Summary: The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for greeting and initiating the patient check-in process for all patients to ensure efficient and timely daily office schedules. The Front Desk Receptionist will also handle a high volume of incoming phone calls while working simultaneously with staff, Providers and patients.
Position duties and responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet all patients and visitors
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Register patients and verify insurance eligibility
- Collect payments through various software systems
- Utilize phone system, fax machine, printer, copier, and scanner for all office functions
- Maintain a clean and organized front office appearance
- Other general administrative office duties
Skills/qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft applications.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- 1 - 2 years of prior experience as a Front Desk Receptionist/Registrar in a medical office setting, is preferred.
- 1-2 years of Customer Service experience in an office environment, is required.
- EMR/EHR systems experience, is required.
- Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail.
- Ability to calmly handle stressful situations.
