Women's Health Connecticut is seeking a Full-time, IT Senior Program Manager for our Corporate Business Office in Rocky Hill, CT (Hybrid).

Employment: Full-time, 40 hrs
Schedule: Monday- Friday

Position Summary: The IT Sr. Program Manager is customer service oriented in working with both internal and external entities. The IT Sr. Program Manager and oversee all aspects of technology projects to ensure on-time completion and within budget. As well as, develops detailed project plans, monitors project milestones and generates periodic status reports, evaluates and manages risk and incorporates quality measures and standards to project deliverables. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of technology.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Oversees the development of technical estimates, work plans, methodologies, and deliverables.
  • Developing and managing project budgets.
  • Establishes project management and quality standards and methods that ensure on-time and in-scope delivery.
  • Leading multiple IT projects from initiation to completion.
  • Monitors all project milestones and design of technical status reports.
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
  • Communicates effectively and builds relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems.
  • Assist in developing the IT strategy as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems).
  • Leads overall IT risk management efforts and ensures that risk is analyzed and mitigated for each project.
  • Devises or reviews\updates contingency plans for all core systems.

Skills/qualifications:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure with demonstrated career progression within the field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in the Healthcare field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA and industry regulations.
  • May require project management certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating and building relationships with employees at all levels within an organization.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and meeting defined metrics.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Occasional travel will be required to service all affiliated Divisions as well attend business and functional meetings.
