Schedule: Monday- Friday
Position Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care under the direction of the Physician. The LPN prepares and assesses patients for the Providers in-office and triages patient phone calls. The LPN is hands on with providing clinical care including manual vitals, medication review and administration and assists with coordinating and scheduling patient care plans.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments.
- Administer prescribed patient’s medication, treatments and therapies according to physician’s orders.
- Coordinate care plans.
- Triage patient phone calls.
- Maintain a clear communication with other members of the patients' multi-disciplinary team.
- Fostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
Skills/qualifications:
- Current state issued LPN license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Electronic Medical Record experience, Athena preferred.
- 1 year LPN experience, OBGYN preferred.
- Team oriented and motivated!
