About Amanda Tissot, MD
Amanda Tissot, MD joined the team at Candlewood Center for Women’s Health, a Women’s Health Connecticut practice, in 2021.
Dr. Tissot earned her Medical Doctorate degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, in 2017. Prior to that, she earned a BA in History from the University of Delaware in 2009, and completed postbaccalaureate premedical course work at City University of New York Queens College in Flushing, NY from 2009 to 2013.
Dr. Tissot comes to us from Nuvance Health Danbury Hospital, where she completed her residency training in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences. She has received numerous honors and awards, including the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine Residency Program Award for Excellence in Obstetrics, and the John J. McGrade, MD Excellence in Reproductive Medicine Award.
