About Allyson Carrier, APRN
Allyson Carrier is an advanced practice registered nurse that earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Quinnipiac University of Hamden, Connecticut in 2015. She acquired a Master of Science in Nursing from the Simmons University of Boston, Massachusetts, in 2022. During that time, she was recognized for her commitment to the field of healthcare and education by earning membership in the Sigma Theta Honor Society.
Starting her career as an Emergency Room nurse, Allyson has a tremendous amount of experience and pairs it with a high level of empathy and compassion to better serve her patients regardless of their situation. She has spent years as an LDRP nurse in various women’s health settings. Allyson has taken this wealth of hands-on expertise into her current role with Women’s Health Connecticut.
Allyson is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and has been a licensed Connecticut State Advanced Practice nurse since 2022. With a commitment to providing quality care, Allyson’s experience has given her a unique ability to understand each patient’s challenges.
She is passionate about delivering the best possible outcomes for her patients in an accessible, safe atmosphere. Allyson is pleased to have found a diverse network of colleagues who share this passion at Women’s Health Connecticut. She will practice at New Britain OB/GYN with locations in New Britain and Southington, CT.
