Women’s Health Connecticut is seeking to hire a Senior Manager of Marketing at our corporate office in Rocky Hill, CT (Hybrid)!

Reports to: AVP of Marketing

Position Summary: Reporting to the AVP of Marketing, this position is responsible for managing, coordination and execution of the marketing initiatives for Women’s Health Connecticut. This position oversees the day-to-day implementation of Women’s Health Connecticut marketing tactics including advertising across varied media, website strategy, management and maintenance, project management, social media content generation and coordination, collateral development, and video development/management. This position also manages and works with agencies, vendors and contractors to coordinate integrated marketing campaigns, creative development, media planning, and project execution.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Is responsible for smooth and successful execution of marketing/media programs for Women’s Health Connecticut (WHC).
  • Oversees and manages websites; keeping websites up-to-date (adding/removing new providers, new content, etc.) and search engine optimized- light web editing, SEO tagging, SEO writing, etc. Works with external developers to manage more complex edits, design, and writing.
  • Direct contact with and high-level customer service to divisions and providers when needed – for ad hoc projects, ongoing content development coordination and basic marketing questions/counsel.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Participates in Marketing team strategy, planning and brainstorming sessions.
  • Participates in strategic plan development as appropriate; strives to understand market forces and nuances and ensures campaigns fulfill that.
  • Maintains and is primary day-to-day contact for vendor/agency relationships – ensuring appropriate cost, timing and quality of plans/deliverables. Reviews and provides feedback to supervisor on proposals, reports, creative and plans.
  • Monitors, understands and reports Marketing KPIs – for volume and brand – to supervisor. Proactively works to improve metrics on ongoing basis.
  • Has awareness and understanding of WHC’s business results (volume, ancillary performance, etc.) and how they may impact marketing efforts and recommendations.
  • Has awareness of overall patient satisfaction metrics and how they may be used for marketing purposes (e.g. include ratings on website, etc.)
  • Works with AVP creating, managing, tracking and reconciling budget.
  • Assists AVP with market surveillance and consumer research, as requested.
  • Manages marketing efforts for all ancillary programs.
  • Manages social media initiatives, collateral, article content, including coordination of freelance efforts on general design, web writing and social media projects.
  • Establishes and maintains a content calendar for social and blog assets that are current and relevant to audiences.
  • Responsible for managing Google MyBusiness listings that WHC owns.
  • Manages and coordinates all patient email efforts and digital check-in advertising – working closely with freelancers and internal teams.
  • Works with clinical ops teams when necessary to strategize and execute on marketing projects as needed.
  • Establishes and adheres to project timelines and budgets.

Skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive marketing or advertising experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record of executing successful, integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Experience managing budgets and optimizing spend for maximum ROI.
  • Direct experience in managing vendor, freelance, and agency relationships.
  • Data-driven decision making and ability to help analyze market trends, consumer behavior and performance data to refine strategy.
  • Strong working knowledge/understanding of web strategy, design, functionality and search engine optimization. Experience with WordPress for minor and occasional website updates.
  • Deep understanding of Digital Marketing: SEO, PPC (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager), email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Experienced in managing the development of social media strategies, campaigns, and content.
  • Strong business and consumer writing and proofreading experience.
  • Professional presence and presentation skills.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Proactive drive, with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Resourceful approach to problem-solving, demonstrating critical thinking skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Strong proficiency in O365.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
