Dr. Gillotti received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Tufts University in 1975. She received a Masters in Public Health and Epidemiology from Columbia University in New York. Dr. Gillotti then earned her medical degree from the University of Connecticut in 1981. She completed her residency and internship in 1985 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, and was on the Medical School faculty there until 1988.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Gillotti served as head of the Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at the Children's Memorial Hospital, Chicago. She has served as clinical instructor of ObGyn at Northwestern Medical School.
Dr. Gillotti is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a founding member of the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. Other professional affiliations include membership in the Connecticut Medical Society, the Fairfield County Medical Association, the American Fertility Society, and the Women's Surgeons Association.
