About Cristina Dinicu
Dr. Dinicu earned her medical degree from the Gr. T. Popa University of Medicine, Iasi, Romania in 1992. She practiced as an obstetrician and gynecologist for 3 years in Romania prior to relocating to the United States. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency training at the University of South Alabama in 2008.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Dinicu is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
She has focused her career in the last few years on peri- and postmenopausal care, adding certification by the North American Menopause Society. She is passionate about a holistic approach in her patients' care, combining conventional medicine treatments with complementary and alternative options. In 2023, she completed the Andrew Weil Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona, and she is now board certified in Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Dinicu is fluent in Romanian and speaks conversational French and Spanish. Away from the practice of medicine, she enjoys cooking, taking dance lessons, and traveling with her husband and two daughters.
