About Corey Teagarden, DO
Dr. Teagarden received her Bachelor of Arts in biology from the State University of New York at Geneseo, and earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College in 2011. Dr. Teagarden served as a military officer, achieving the rank of Major, in the United States Air Force. While on base, she was a practice leader at the Malcolm Grow Medical Clinic and Ambulatory Surgery Center as an on-staff ObGyn, Medical Director, and Women’s Health Flight Commander. She also served as a staff physician at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, performing labor and delivery duties, including full-spectrum inpatient and outpatient gynecological surgeries. She has also provided guidance to residents and medical students during this time.
Published several times on pregnancy and prenatal care topics, Dr. Teagarden is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She joined Litchfield County OB/GYN in 2019.
