About Hannah Berry, CNM
Hannah Berry, is a certified nurse midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner with a longstanding commitment to empowering women and families to make informed choices regarding their sexual and reproductive health.
Hannah earned her Bachelor of Nursing and Master of Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. She began her midwifery career in Pittsburgh, PA within a large, high-volume midwifery practice. Her time there gave her a solid foundation in caring for laboring women. Hannah believes that birth is a normal process that can be an empowering experience in a woman’s life. She feels privileged to attend births and share in such an amazing part of a couple’s lives.
In addition to care during pregnancy and labor, Hannah has particular interests in reducing health disparities, contraceptive counseling, and pelvic floor health. She enjoys working together with patients to develop a plan of care that meets the needs of the individual and their families.
Currently, Hannah is a Certified Nurse Midwife at S.H.E. Medical Associates (Physicians for Women’s Health), where she continues to deliver warm and individualized care to her patients. Hannah can be seen at the Hartford (Main Office), Avon, Enfield, and South Windsor locations.
Hannah lives in West Hartford with her husband and daughter. When not in the office or catching babies she can be found spending time with family, knitting, and enjoying the outdoors.
