Dr. Claudia Baxter earned her medical degree from the New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York where she was the vice president of the Student National Medical Association. She graduated with clinical honors in Obstetrics & Gynecology and attended the New York Medical College on a full tuition scholarship.
Dr. Baxter is a recipient of the Sanford Sall, MD Award in Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Lester J. Schultz Memorial Scholarship for Academic Promise from the Westchester Community Foundation, and the New York Medical College Cor et Manus Award of Distinction.
Completing her obstetrics and gynecology residency training at the Stamford Hospital/Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, Dr. Baxter is board certified and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
Dr. Baxter lives in New Milford with her husband and their two children. She has been with Women’s Healthcare of New Milford, a Women’s Health Connecticut practice, since 2004.
