About Kathryn Peck, MSN, CNM, LC
Kathryn “Kate” Peck (she/her) is a certified nurse midwife and has worked in multiple settings including home, birth center and hospital. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, as well as nursing and obtained her masters in nurse-midwifery from SUNY Downstate in 2018. She feels passionate about supporting birthing people and their families through the amazing and complex transitions of pregnancy and parenthood and is a firm believer in providing individualized and evidence-based care while supporting physiologic birth. She is also a certified lactation counselor (CLC) and supports breastfeeding with both prenatal education and postpartum support. Kathryn is thrilled to be a part of the team at Danbury Midwifery Group offering patient centered care during pregnancy, postpartum and well woman gynecological care.
Kathryn, a native New Yorker, is now a new resident of Connecticut where she lives with her husband, daughter and 3 cats. She enjoys reading, gardening, cooking (and eating) and spending time with family and friends.
