About Miwako Ohta-Agresta, CNM
Miwako Ohta-Agresta, CNM, received her undergraduate degree with a BSN from Syracuse University, and her MSN in midwifery from Columbia University. She is a certified health coach (Institute of Integrative Nutrition), certified hypnotherapist (Mind Matters Hypnosis), and yoga instructor (Lotus Gardens Yoga School). She joined S.H.E. Medical Associates, a Women’s Health Connecticut practice, in 2008 and provides women’s healthcare with a special interest in vulvar and vaginal disorders, menopausal issues including BHRT, holistic health coaching, and hypnosis.
Miwako is passionate about interacting with her patients, discussing their health concerns, and getting to know them as individuals. She is proud to represent Women’s Health Connecticut because it allows her to provide high quality care to women.
Miwako lives in Burlington, Connecticut with her husband and two children. She enjoys trail running, triathlons, biking, hiking, and yoga.
