About Michael Bork, DO
Dr. Bork is a board-certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist with extensive expertise in high-risk obstetrical care. He earned his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences–Kansas City (KCU), and completed his OB/GYN residency at Tripler Army Medical Center before pursuing subspecialty fellowship training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Connecticut. He holds dual board certifications from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Senior Fellow of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), a Fellow of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM), and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). He also serves as a Subject Expert and Reviewer for the OB/GYN Assessment Committee with ARMDS/Inteleos. His clinical interests include ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis, fetal echocardiography, medical complications of pregnancy, and fetal therapy.
Prior to joining Maternal & Fetal Medicine Specialists of Fairfield County, Dr. Bork served as Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and the Fetal Diagnostic Unit, as well as Chairman of the Department of OB/GYN at Henry Ford Hospital and Medical Center in Wyandotte, MI. He now joins Dr. William Cusick in delivering the highest quality, compassionate, and collaborative high-risk obstetrical care to the WHC patient population.
