Schedule: Monday- Thursday 8:00a- 5:00p, Friday 8:00a- 4:00p
Position Summary: In this role, the LPN or RN at Women’s Health CT- OB & GYN will deliver the highest quality patient care and directly supports the Nursing and Provider teams. The LPN/RN is responsible for educating, advising and providing clinical support in-office, and by phone, to obstetric and gynecologic patients. This position requires a current State issued RN or LPN license, and previous working experience in an out-patient practice, urgent care clinic, or hospital environment.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments.
- Administer prescribed patient’s medication, treatments and therapies according to physician’s orders.
- Coordinate care plans.
- Triage patient phone calls.
- Maintain a clear communication with other members of the patients’ multi-disciplinary team.
- Fostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Current CT LPN or RN license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years OB/GYN or Women’s Health nursing experience.
- Injection/vaccine experience is required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and focus on details.
