Same Day 3D Screening Mammography

Schedule a mammogram the same day as your next annual or problem visit.

See more, stress less! 3D mammography technology makes it easier to find abnormalities that may not be visible in traditional 2D views. Women who add 3D mammography to their test receive fewer false positives. Our mammography suite is located at 103 Newtown Road in Danbury.

Your Visit

Schedule an Appointment

You may request an appointment online or you can call our Scheduling Department at (203) 743-5356 two weeks prior to the time you wish to be seen. We also have emergency appointments available in our schedule Monday through Saturday in the event that you are experiencing a problem and would like a same-day appointment.

To Cancel or Reschedule

If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you cancel/reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time in order to avoid a missed appointment charge. We greatly appreciate this consideration.


Insurance Plan Participation

Candlewood Center for Women's Health participates in most managed care plans and sees patients with government as well as traditional insurance. To learn if a particular physician or clinician participates with your plan, please contact your insurance company.

At your initial visit, you will be asked to present your insurance card, photo ID, and to complete new patient paperwork. After scheduling your first appointment you will be mailed the necessary new patient forms or you may download the necessary forms here. To save time during your first appointment, please complete the new patient paperwork ahead of time and bring it with you.

Billing and Payments

You are responsible for all deductibles, co-payments and/or any referrals that may be required by your insurance company. Your co-payment is expected at the time of service and payment in full is expected at each visit for services not covered by your insurance, in addition to all services rendered to patients with insurance plans with which our physicians do not participate. If you do not have an insurance card available, full payment also is expected at the time of service.

For your convenience, we accept cash, check, Mastercard, VISA, and Discover. All returned checks will be assessed a $25.00 service charge. If you are an existing patient with a balance due, you can also pay your bill online.
