About Howard G. Mortman
Dr. Mortman received his undergraduate degree from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs in 1981, and his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine in 1985. He completed his internship at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1987, and his residency at the Yale School of Medicine/Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Mortman practices obstetrics and gynecology with special interests in women’s preventative care, premenstrual syndrome, perimenopause, menopause, ultrasound, imaging, contraception, and infertility. He joined Sharon OB/GYN Associates in 1991.
Dr. Mortman is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the Accreditation Fetal Medicine Foundation, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine as well as the Association for Medical Ultrasound.
In addition to his dedication to women’s health, Dr. Mortman is passionate about photography, cycling, music and playing the piano and keyboard. He is married with three children and has three standard poodles.
