She attended medical school at the University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio and completed her residency at the University of Connecticut/John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, CT. She is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also the recent recipient of the Patients' Choice Award.
