Dr. Carol Papov attended Boston University School of Medicine and graduated with her medical degree in 1995. While at medical school, Dr. Papov was an elected member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the Honor Medical Society, was a recipient of the Samuel L. Poplack Award for Superior Clinical Competence and Excellence in Patient Care, as well as a recipient of the Henry J. Bakst Award for excellence in Community Medicine.
Dr. Papov completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency training at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington in 1999. During her residency, she was awarded the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology Award for Top Senior Resident in Colposcopy, the Heart and Hands Award for Outstanding GYN Cancer Care, the University of CT Health Center 1999 Alumni Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, and the Berlex Laboratories’ Resident Teaching Award: “Best 2nd year teaching resident.” Her last year at UCONN was spent as Chief Resident and Clinical Instructor.
Privately practicing ObGyn in New Milford since 1999, Dr. Papov is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
She lives in New Milford with her husband and their two children.
