About Anastasia Litke, CNM
Anastasia earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine and began her career at Hartford Hospital on the medical/telemetry unit. She then transitioned to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, where she served as a float pool nurse in both the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units. Her journey into midwifery began with her own transformative experience of becoming a mother. After her own water birth experiences, attended by midwives, Anastasia felt called to support women through their most profound life stages. This passion led her to pursue a master’s degree in nursing and midwifery at Frontier Nursing University. During her graduate studies, she worked as an RN at the Danbury Birth Center. Now a board-certified Nurse-Midwife, she also serves as President of the Connecticut Affiliate of the American College of Nurse-Midwives. Anastasia is dedicated to delivering compassionate, individualized, and holistic care to women of all backgrounds. Her special interests include trauma-informed care, pregnancy, contraception, and gynecologic care. She is committed to empowering every woman she meets to make informed, confident choices and to feel respected and heard throughout their healthcare journey. Outside of work, Anastasia lives in Tolland with her husband and two young daughters. She enjoys outdoor adventures, including hiking, camping, horseback riding, and training her two black labs.
