About Debora Zamora, MD
Dr. Zamora spent 15 years serving this country in the Army Reserve where she achieved the rank of Sergeant First Class. During this time, she received extensive leadership and civil affairs training, which helps her every day as a physician. Dr. Zamora received her bachelor’s from the University of Sagrado Corazon in 2010 and her MD from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in 2016. She worked in obstetrics and gynecology at San Juan City Hospital in Puerto Rico for four years before coming to CT to continue her practice.
She is incredibly active in the medical community. Even during her time serving our country, she spent time as a research assistant and delivered several presentations on surgical management. Outside of work, she continues to be active, spending time running cross-country and kayaking. Dr. Zamora is fluent in Spanish, and she is currently welcoming new patients.
