About Lydia Lormand, DO, FACOG
Lydia Lormand, DO, FACOG is a board-certified physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. She completed her ObGyn residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, after earning her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and her Bachelor of Science degree from Binghamton University. During residency, she was honored with the Practicing the Art of Medicine Award, given to the chief resident who demonstrates an exceptional ability to integrate evidence-based medicine with clinical intuition, empathy, and compassion.
Dr. Lormand is passionate about caring for women through every stage of life — from puberty and the reproductive years through menopause. What she loves most about women’s health is the opportunity to make patients feel comfortable in what can often be an uncomfortable or vulnerable setting. She believes that excellent care begins with trust, and her goal is to provide collaborative, compassionate, and comfortable care where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healthcare decisions.
Outside of work, Dr. Lormand enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. As a mother of three, she understands the joys, challenges, and constant balancing act that come with family life, and she brings that perspective and empathy into the care she provides for her patients.
