About Linda Padilla
Dr. Padilla is an accomplished OB/GYN physician with a strong academic and professional background. Her robust experience and expertise put her in a unique position to offer supportive, expert care to each of her patients.
In 1986, Dr. Padilla obtained her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Fordham University, graduating magna cum laude and receiving the American Institute of Chemists Award. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Chemistry at the University of Rochester in 1988.
In 1996, Dr. Padilla pursued her MD at the University of Pittsburgh. During her time there, she co-directed the Western Pennsylvania Health Preceptorship Program and volunteered at both the Student Academic Resource Center and the Homeless Outreach Education Program.
Following her MD, Dr. Padilla completed her OB/GYN residency at Yale-New Haven-Bridgeport Hospital in 2001. She moved on to serve as an OB/GYN physician at Optimus Health in Bridgeport, CT, where she also served as the Acting Director of the OB/GYN Department from 2008 to 2020.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Padilla is an active volunteer with Milford's Way and the Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services (IRIS) program, where she helps resettle refugees. Pulling from this experience, she has a passion for creating caring, supportive environments that are centered around her patients’ needs.
Dr. Padilla currently practices at Women's Health CT-Obstetrics & Gynecology in Trumbull, Connecticut, where she provides comprehensive care in obstetrics and gynecology. She has been a certified diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2004 and holds hospital privileges at Bridgeport Hospital.
