Your Visit
Schedule an Appointment
To serve you in the best way possible, we work by appointments. Please let us know of any issues that may necessitate how soon you need to be seen. Patients can expect same day visits for urgent problems.
At your initial visit, you will be asked to present your insurance card, photo ID, any necessary co-payments and to complete new patient paperwork. To save time during your first appointment, you may download and complete our new patient paperwork ahead of time and bring it with you. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time if you have not previously completed the necessary paperwork.
We recognize the importance of your time, so we do our best to keep your appointment on schedule. However, unforeseen delays may arise from surgical procedures, deliveries or emergency patients. If your physician will be delayed, we do our best to notify you before you come to the office or upon your arrival. You may wait for the physician or reschedule your appointment. Your patience and understanding in these matters is greatly appreciated.
To Cancel or Reschedule
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you cancel/reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. This will help us to utilize the vacated time for other patients needing our care.
In Case of Emergency
Our physicians are available 24 hours a day and your emergencies will always receive priority regardless of the day or time. After normal business hours our phones are answered live by an answering service. Call the office immediately if you experience abnormally heavy bleeding, severe abdominal pain, or other urgent matters.
Please remember that due to caller ID, you may see a variety of numbers from us on your phone, however the only number that will get you the answering service after hours is our main number. Please call this number in the advent of an emergency: 203-269-0885.
Prescription Refill Policy
All refill and authorization requests should be made by calling 203-269-0885 during normal business hours so that we will have access to your medical records. Please monitor how much medication you have remaining and call at least 3 days prior to needing your refill to allow us time to process the request. Routine prescription refills are not done after hours or on weekends.
